Overview
Darul Yaseen Quran Academy is committed to providing safe, high-quality, 1-on-1 online Quran and Islamic education for students and families worldwide. If you have questions about student privacy, lesson guidelines, or academic policies, contact our admissions team.
1. Scope and Our Commitment
This policy applies to all public pages, registration forms, student portals, and virtual classroom interactions hosted by Darul Yaseen Quran Academy. We operate under strict educational privacy and child protection standards.
As an Islamic educational institution teaching students across the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and worldwide, we prioritize the trust parents place in us when enrolling their children.
2. Information We Collect
Registration & Admissions: When parents or adult students register for a free trial or enrollment, we collect names, guardian contact details, email addresses, phone/WhatsApp numbers, preferred time zones, student age, and current Quran reading level.
Student Academic Records: We maintain attendance logs, Tajweed assessment reports, Sabaq/Sabqi memorization progress, teacher notes, and exam scores within our secure student management system.
Payment Information: Tuition payments are securely processed by certified third-party payment gateways (such as Stripe). Darul Yaseen Quran Academy never stores full credit card numbers or banking passwords on our servers.
3. Children's Privacy (Under 18)
Protecting minors is central to our values. All enrollments for students under the age of 18 must be initiated, authorized, and managed by a verified parent or legal guardian.
We do not collect personal contact information directly from young children. All scheduling, progress reviews, and academic communications are conducted exclusively with the registered parent or guardian.
4. Live Virtual Classroom & Video Conduct
Our 1-on-1 live classes take place in secure, encrypted meeting rooms. Tutors and students interact solely for educational purposes adhering to strict Islamic etiquette and academic decorum.
Classroom recording is only enabled when explicitly requested by a parent for revision purposes or periodically reviewed by our Academic Quality Assurance supervisor to ensure pedagogical standards. Video recordings are never shared publicly or used for commercial marketing without explicit written parental consent.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use student and family data exclusively to: schedule 1-on-1 lessons, match students with appropriate male or female tutors, send lesson reminders and homework voice clips, deliver academic progress reports, and process monthly tuition invoices.
We do not sell, rent, or monetize personal student or parent information to third-party advertisers or data brokers under any circumstances.
6. Security and Data Protection
We employ modern technical safeguards, including HTTPS encryption in transit, strict database access controls, two-factor authentication for faculty accounts, and routine server security audits.
Faculty members sign strict confidentiality and student safeguarding agreements prohibiting unauthorized retention of student contact details outside our official academy platform.
7. Your Rights and Data Access
Parents and adult students have the right to request access to their academic records, update contact details, request deletion of account records upon graduation, or opt out of non-essential communications.
To exercise these rights or request a full data export, contact our Admissions & Privacy officer at admissions@darulyaseen.com.
